John Q. Armstrong and his sons, John Junior Armstrong and
Charles D. Armstrong, worked in partnership through the last
half of the 20th century as Armstrong and Sons. Involved in
row crop farming, a cow/calf operation, fertilizer sales and
application, Pioneer seed corn sales, auctioneering, and
retailing/wholesaling tires, Armstrong and Sons was a
family-owned business which proudly served its friends in
In 1976, Charles D. Armstrong formed a new company,
Armstrong, Inc., dedicated solely to the tire business. His
brother, John Junior Armstrong, remained in the agricultural
endeavors as Armstrong Farms.
Now, in the 21st century, Mark Armstrong, Charles' son,
continues the family tradition of offering good service and
good prices on all types of tires.
(And though Charles is retired, you can still find him most
days in the warehouse, still working and selling tires.)
